2004 - dosud - CTU in Prague, Faculty of Civil Engineering, LERMO, research assistent
Area of interest:
My research work is focused on:
- Urban hydrology - description of surface runoff processes in urbanized areas, i.e. rainfall characteristics, surface characteristics, mathematical description of surface runoff, monitoring of rain, modelling of surface runoff.
- Sewer system flow - monitoring and modelling of pipe flow, combined sewer overflows, retention basins.
- Hydraulic reliability of sewer system- definition of terms, methods for assessing reliability, new concepts of sewer system design.
- " Integrated approach of urban water management - effects of urban drainage on receiving waters, integration of hydraulic, chemical and biological aspects, optimisation of urban drainage behaviour.
Projects:
1999 - project of IGA CTU - Nutrients management in urban drainage
2006-2008 – GACR 103/06/P327 - Stochastic model of runoff processes in urbanized catchments and its application on sewer system design
